| Biography | ANDRES VADIN VALDES RUIZ
Andres grew up in Havana (Cuba), in a very rich artistic environment
with influences of afrocuban rhythms, son cubano, american rock, jazz,
and flamenco. He graduated as a classical guitarist and teacher at the Amadeo Roldan
Conservatorio, at the age of 18. More recently he performed and recorded with great percussionist from Lebanon Georges Barbar and Singer and song writer Kamal Kozah. He collaborated to a recording with Aceituna sin Hueso on the album Homenaje a Serrat, who was nominated to the latin Grammy in 2005. He toured many times through out Lebanon and Jordan, performing in the
most important theaters. Andres Vadin Valdes Ruiz carries on a dynamic career as flamenco guitar player, and masters the art combining sounds and techniques of Jazz and Cuban music. |
